Quality Street ditch Toffee Deluxe for Honeycomb Crunch

Everybody loves Quality Street Chocolates (especially around Christmas time!), it’s many varied flavours means there is something for everyone…

But now Nestle (makers of this iconic chocolate brand) have decided to remove the Toffee Deluxe sweet in favour of a new barrel-shaped “Honeycomb Crunch” after customer feedback showed that there were too many toffee flavoured sweets in the box.

The Toffee Deluxe is the one with a block of toffee covered in a thin layer of chocolate with a brown wrapper, it is one of three toffee flavours in the Quality Street box, the other two of course are the round penny variety and chocolate covered toffee finger.

The new Honeycomb Crunch flavour will be a truffle infused with crunchy honeycomb pieces and covered in chocolate.

A Nestle representative has stated they have added the Honeycomb Crunch sweet (which is a flavour never featured in the box before) to celebrate Quality Street’s 80th birthday and that the Toffee Deluxe sweet will still be available as part of special toffee packs.
